Free Funded Sessions - 15 & 30 hours

From the term following their 3rd birthday all children are entitled to 15 free hours per week in term time.

We also offer 30 free hours per week for the 9 month, 2 year and 3 year old funding. Please check on this link to see if you qualify...

STRETCHED PROVISION

Our ‘stretched provision’ allows parents to use less funded hours during term time enabling them to save hours for school holidays. If you feel this would benefit you, please ask the setting Manager.

Rates from 1st April 2025 in Ipswich:

Age 0-2

Full Day 7:30am - 5:30pm = £79.50* (breakfast, snacks & tea included)

Full Day 8:00am - 6:00pm = £79.50* (snacks & tea included)

Early Morning 7:30am - 12:30pm = £44.55* (snack included)

Later Morning 8:00am - 1:00pm = £44.55* (snack included)

Long School Day 8.30am - 4.00pm = £68.20* (snack included)

Short Afternoon 1:00pm - 4:00pm = £32.00 (snack included)

Long Afternoon 1:00pm - 6:00pm = £44.55 (snack & tea included)

Out of School Club

Breakfast Club:

7:30am to start of school time. Drop offs to Halifax & Hillside = £8.50 (breakfast included)

After School Club:

School pick up from Halifax & Hillside at school finish time, club runs until 6:00pm = £11.50 (tea included)

Holiday Club:

Full Day 7:30am - 6:00pm = £34.50* (breakfast, snacks & tea included)

Morning session 7:30am - 12:30pm = £19.75* (breakfast & snack included)

Afternoon Session 1:00pm - 6:00pm = £19.75 (snack & tea included)

Cooked lunch charged extra at £3.00

Trips and outings such as to the cinema or the ski centre are charged at an additional cost

to cover entry fee where applicable and extra staffing.

CONSUMABLE FEE (for funded sessions only)

At The Peartree Kindergarten, we charge a modest consumable fee to help cover the essential costs that are not included within government funding, such as costs towards trips, breakfast (before 8am), snacks, tea, sun cream, wipes, calpol, nappy cream, piriton and other day-to-day items that support your child’s comfort and wellbeing. While this fee is optional, we kindly ask families who are able to do so to contribute, as these charges directly support our ability to maintain high-quality provision and the range of experiences we offer. If paying this fee is difficult for your family, please speak confidentially with your Nursery Manager, who will be happy to discuss alternatives. Parents have the option to supply their own snacks and consumable items, but there are strict guidelines to follow in terms of nutrition and how the items are packaged.

£2.50 per session covering AM & PM sessions

If you have more than 1 child attending nursery, we will offer a 50% sibling discount on the consumable charge for the younger child

To clarify, the consumable fee applies only to government funded sessions.
